Telehealth Network Grant Program
Telehealth Network Grant Program

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) released a Funding Opportunity Announcement for its Telehealth Network Grant Program (TNGP). The primary purpose of telehealth programs and networks is to improve access to quality healthcare services in rural, frontier, and underserved communities. TNGP networks are used to: expand access to, coordinate, and improve the quality of healthcare services; improve and expand the training of healthcare providers; and/or expand and improve the quality of health information available to healthcare providers, patients, and patients and their families, for decision-making. Eligible applicants are entities that will provide services to rural communities through a telehealth network and partner with at least one other entity (to check Rural Health Grants Eligibility, click here). HRSA anticipates making nine grant awards of up to $250,000 per year for the three-year program period. Applications are due February 13, 2013.
