Small Health Care Provider Quality Improvement Grant Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration recently announced its Small Health Care Provider Quality Improvement (Rural Quality) Grant Program, which supports rural primary care providers for implementation of quality improvement activities. Proposals must use an evidence-based quality improvement model, perform tests of change focused on improvement, and use health information technology to collect and report data. The project period is three years (beginning October 1, 2013 and ending September 30, 2016), with available funding of up to $150,000 per year for approximately 40-50 grantees. Applications are due January 30, 2013.
