SAMHSA Funding Opportunity to Address Substance Use and Homelessness
Last week, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced the availability of up to $10 million for supportive housing for homeless individuals.
The program will support efforts to integrate treatment and recovery services for substance use with permanent housing services for individuals experiencing homelessness – including veterans.
All non-profit entities – both public and private – are eligible to apply. SAMHSA anticipates making approximately 25 awards of up to $400,000 each. Applications are due on April 25, 2014.
