The Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) and Toshiba’s “Putting Patients First” Program will provide seven grants in 2012 to fund programs, trainings or seminars designed to improve pediatric or adult patient care and safety within the field of diagnostic imaging. Specifically, six grants of up to $7,500 will be awarded to single-site hospitals and imaging centers, and one grant of up to $20,000 will be awarded to an Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) or hospital system. Selected programs will be used to develop a best-practices tool to share with other hospitals and institutions. Applicants must be directly involved in supervising diagnostic imaging in CT, Ultrasound, MRI and/or X-ray/Vascular X-ray at a hospital or imaging center in the United States.
