The National Science Foundation (NSF) accepting proposals for its Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program, which supports active research participation by undergraduate students in any of NSF’s research areas. Academic institutions may apply to become an REU Site as a single discipline/department or as an interdisciplinary/multi-department  with a coherent intellectual theme. The deadline is August 27th, 2014.
