HRSA recently announced two new opportunities are available for health center entities funded under Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act.
HRSA is making available up to $50 million for increasing the coordination, collaboration, and integration of primary and behavioral health care services at existing health centers. HRSA anticipates making awards of up to $250,000 per entity. Applications are due on March 3rd.
In addition, HRSA announced up to $35 million for one-time capital development awards for existing health centers. Awards are to be used for making facility improvements that might be needed to help health centers deliver care using the patient-centered medical home (PCMH) model. Applications are due on March 14th.
Both opportunities are for activities authorized and funded by the Affordable Care Act. Words for Good Principal Stacie Harting Marsh has served on a number of HRSA review panels for Section 330 funding opportunities, and we are proud to have experience with successfully writing and managing applications for numerous Section 330 entities.
