LOIs due Sept. 6th for NIH Alzheimer’s Disease Core Centers
The National Institute on Aging (NIA), one of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has opened its Alzheimer’s Disease Core Centers (P30) opportunity. The NIA Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) Centers currently includes 15 AD Research Centers and 12 AD Core Centers. Centers provide an environment and core resources that bring together biomedical, behavioral, and clinical investigators to study the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of AD and improve health-care delivery. New Core Center applicants may request up to $1.1 million in direct costs for the first year, with 3% increases annually in the four subsequent years. Letters of Intent are due September 6, 2015, with full applications due October 28, 2015.
