HRSA Announces Funding for the State Systems Development Initiative
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced the availability of up to $5.9 million for the maternal and child health State Systems Development Initiative (SSDI). The initiative seeks to improve state maternal and child health data capacity to drive more informed decision-making and resource allocation for Title V maternal and child health programs. Eligibility is limited to the 59 State Title V Agencies. HRSA anticipates making 3-year awards of up to $100,000 annually to each of the 59 agencies. Applications are due on September 2, 2014.
