HRSA Announces $16 million for Rural Health Outreach
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced the availability of up to $16 million for the Rural Health Care Services Outreach Program. Funding will support projects to improve outreach and health care delivery in rural communities using evidence-based and promising practices through strong consortia.
Rural non-profit or public entities representing three or more health care providers are eligible to apply. HRSA anticipates funding as many as 80 three-year grants of up to $200,000 annually each. Applications are due by November 14, 2014.
