The National Science Foundation recently released its annual solicitation for the Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) program, designed to support institutions of higher education in offering financial aid and wrap-around services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds with high academic potential and interests in STEM disciplines. As with each year, the solicitation has been further refined, requiring careful considerations of the unique nuances of NSF in general and the S-STEM program in particular.
