Congratulations, Community Health Network!

Words for Good® congratulates Community Health Network (CHNw) on its $59,166 award from the State of Indiana’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction for outreach activities to homeless individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Via its Gallahue Mental Health Services, CHNw will provide a variety of outreach strategies to identify chronically homeless individuals with serious mental illness and/or addictions that live in Gallhue’s service areas. Once identified, individuals will be offered assistance in obtaining housing, health care, educational and job training services, as well as providing an array of needed mental health and addictions services.

The award is part of the PATH grant program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This grant will enable Gallahue to directly impact more than 350 homeless individuals in the Indianapolis area.

Through CHNw, Gallahue is an outstanding leader in meeting the health care needs of the communities it serves, and Words for Good was honored to work with its team to secure these resources to help Indianpolis’ homeless population.
