The Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Prevention Research Centers Program has recently released a funding opportunity announcement that aims to support a nationwide network of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research Centers that identify evidence gaps in one of three categories: (1) dissemination and implementation research; (2) public health practice-based research; and (3) intervention research. Minorities and other previously underserved populations should be the primary focus of these investigations.

Letters of intent are due by Friday, August 9th, and the entire application should be submitted no later than September 16th, 2013 at 5 p.m. (EST).
