Announcing the BUILD Health Challenge, made possible by a unique partnership between the Kresge Foundation, Advisory Board Company, de Beaumont Foundation and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation! Through planning and implementation awards for partnerships among hospitals, nonprofits, local health departments, and other community organizations, the BUILD Health Challenge is intended to improve the health of low-income neighborhoods within cities with populations greater than 150,000. The collaborators will provide up to $7.5 million in grants, low-interest loans, and program-related investments to up to 14 awardees over the next two years, in addition to a broad range of support services, including technical assistance, coaching and access to networks of population health innovators.
