The American Legion’s Child Welfare Foundation has announced a new grant opportunity. Projects must contribute to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual welfare of children through the dissemination of knowledge either already possessed by well-established organizations or via new and innovative programs and organizations. Projects must have the potential to help children in large, multi-state geographic areas.
Eligibility is limited to non-profit organizations. In 2012, the Child Welfare Foundation awarded over $734,000 to 20 non-profit organizations for this purpose.
Applications for this round are due by July 15, 2014.
