The Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) and Toshiba have announced the availability of up to $65,000 for its Putting Patients First Grant. Funded projects will include programs, training or seminars aimed at improving pediatric or adult patient care and safety within diagnostic imaging in order to produce best practices for the field.

The initiative will fund six grants of up to $7,500 each to single-site hospitals and imaging centers and one grant of up to $20,000 to an integrated delivery network or hospital system. Applications are due by October 14, 2014.
