The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is now accepting applications for its Roadmaps to Health Prize. This grant is awarded annually to organizations and community partnerships that encourage others to live healthier lives. Recipients receive a $25,000 cash prize, and have their story broadcast by RWJF in order to inspire similar efforts across the country. This honor is intended to applaud whole communities – as such, concerted applications received from a group of individuals or organizations is strongly encouraged. RWJF defines a community as follows: Town, City, County, Tribe or Tribal Community, or Region. Six winning communities will be recognized in 2014. Applications are due May 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
