Graduate Psychology Education Program

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) released a Funding Opportunity Announcement for its Graduate Psychology Education (GPE) Program. The purpose of this program is to address the behavioral health needs of vulnerable and underserved populations by supporting doctoral-level psychology education and training programs. Eligible applicants are American Psychological Association-accredited psychology schools and programs that provide didactic training to doctoral students interested in working with vulnerable and underserved populations, state and local governments, or other public or private nonprofit entities that support pre-degree internship training in clinical psychology practice. HRSA anticipates making approximately 25 grant awards of up to $190,000 per year for the three-year program period which begins July 1, 2013 and ends June 30, 2016. Applications are due February 8, 2013.
