Stacie Harting Marsh, Principal and Founder, has over 10 years of experience working with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including hospitals and health care systems, direct service agencies, advocacy organizations, higher education institutions, elementary and secondary schools, municipal corporations, and think tanks.

Stacie’s specialty is federal grant proposals, primarily to agencies within the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Other federal agencies for which Stacie has experience include the Department of Education, Department of Labor, Department of State, Department of Justice, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Department of Commerce.

Our clients describe her as organized, thorough, knowledgeable, and proactive.  In addition to a Grant Professionals Certification (GPC), Stacie holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University (IU) and a Certificate in Fund Development for Nonprofits from the IU Center on Philanthropy Fund Raising School.

Stacie regularly serves as a grant reviewer at the federal, state, and private levels, including the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Indiana Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Central Indiana affiliate), and the Grant Professionals Association (formerly American Association of Grant Professionals).  As a member of GPA, Stacie is connected to a network of national and local professionals within the larger development community, for whom she can provide referrals for projects outside her expertise. Stacie also serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Louisville.

Anne Tabor Miller, Senior Grant Specialist, has extensive writing and copyediting experience, including two years of legal writing as a clerk for the Indiana Court of Appeals and most recently two years of grant writing as an independent contractor for Words for Good, Inc.

Anne holds a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.  While in law school, Anne focused on legal writing and health law. Anne received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, majoring in psychology while also obtaining a concentration in Public Health and a certificate in Business.

Prior to attending law school, Anne worked in both Human Resources and Community Relations for a major hospital network in Indianapolis. Anne has served as a grant reviewer for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Central Indiana affiliate) and is past Chair of Development and a current Board Advisor for Joy’s House, an Indianapolis non-profit providing adult day service.

Anne grew up in Indianapolis, and has enjoyed summers with her family on Lake Wawasee for more than 30 years. Anne now lives in Carmel with her husband, son, and soon-to-be daughter (due to arrive April 2013).  Contact Anne at


Mandy Pellegrin HeadshotMandy Pellgrin, Policy Analyst / Health Care Writer, has over eight years of federal health policy experience, including as a Presidential Management Fellow within the Secretary’s Budget Office at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and as the principal health policy advisor to a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and its Subcommittee on Health during the drafting, consideration, and passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Mandy holds an M.P.P. from Georgetown University, where she focused on health policy.  Mandy received her undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University, majoring in political science.

Mandy brings with her a wealth of information and experience in federal health care policy and relationship-building — with specialized work on issues as diverse as health reform, Medicare payment policy, traumatic brain injury, the mental health and substance abuse safety net, and the nation’s public health infrastructure, among others.

Mandy grew up in Tennessee and is an avid crafter and do-it-yourselfer.  After spending the last eight years in Washington, DC, Mandy now shares a home in Nashville with her husband Michael and their cat Pete.  Contact Mandy at
